First, your grammar is terrible. Maybe that goes with being Irish, i dunno. secondy, the quality of the above vid is probably quite good compared to what you get in your miserable little corner of the world, so it probably doesnt bother you. But I happened to be looking for a recipe, found this vid, made a quick comment that took me around 20 seconds, then i got on with my life. Maybe you should try that aswell, maybe even go for night classes in basic English?
this is wrong!! this is more like lecso from hungary. my grandmum was a chef in budapest for 30 years. a proper goulash or gulyas is.. sweet hungarian paprika and onion and crushed caraway seeds parsnips and carrots and potato and lamb or beef. i will post my one soon. all my friends have had mine and they love it!! sorry jamie i love your cooking but this dish is wrong!!
It looks like a piece of pork shoulder (boston butt) that has been boned. When doing long braises and stews like this I prefer bone-in cuts, I feel they give better flavor.
It’s basically just a spicy pork roast. typical southern dish with a bit of a cajun twist with the cayan pepper. i cook this once in a while when guests come over for dinner. I like to serve it with long grain brown rice though.
I love being born and rasied southern because we have the best of 3 countrys culinary history with french, spanish and latin. makes for a lot of pork dishes with spicy flavors.
A lot of people are commenting on this not being the real deal. Would you please post a vid showing what you feel is the authentic stuff. I have no idea how to fix it if this is not it. It looks good though and I will try it

this is goulash!!! it’s a traditional hungarian food!!! i’ve ate this kind of food and it’s absolutly fantastic!
That’s not gulyás.
And goulash is a soup, so this is like a stew..
And we make goulash out of beef, and more paprika
But anyway, a nice comfort food, that is.
