Antony Worrall Thompson was born in Stratford upon Avon. He made his first television appearance on BBC2’s Food and Drink, before appearing on Ready Steady Cook from 1994. Antony is a great entrepreneur, however, like many great businessmen he has become a casualty of the credit crunch. Many of his restaurants have gone into administration. Only time will tell if this great cook will bounce back, but whatever happens his cooking and recipes still remain high on anyone's shopping list he also produces some good quality kitchen gadgets.
